From November 4th to 6th, 2025, Ausiàs March High School in Gandia hosted a series of inclusive education days as part of the Erasmus+ programme, welcoming teachers from Malta, Germany, and France. These sessions marked the conclusion of a collaboration agreement that began two years ago between five European countries —Spain, Malta, Germany, France, and Finland— with events held in each country to share inclusive education strategies.
Over three enriching and productive days, participants explored the school’s initiatives for inclusion, such as UECO classrooms for students with special needs and adapted Basic Vocational Training programmes. They also visited other local educational institutions and organizations like the Espurna Foundation, which promotes the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
The programme included workshops, cultural visits, inclusive meals, and collective reflection spaces to discuss the challenges and opportunities of inclusion in European schools. All participants praised the quality of the activities and the warm hospitality received.
